THE ROLE:
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to lead the organization’s financial planning, forecasting, and analytics functions. This role plays a critical part in shaping financial strategy, supporting operational leaders, and enabling data-driven decisions across the enterprise.
You’ll work closely with the Executive Team and Private Equity Sponsors to deliver financial reporting, lead annual planning and quarterly forecasting, and support growth initiatives—including M&A. As a leader, you’ll also guide and mentor a high-performing FP&A team.
Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Function: Oversee the full FP&A lifecycle, including annual operating budgets, long-range strategic planning, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis. Ensure alignment of financial plans with organizational goals.
Executive and Board-Level Reporting: Design, develop, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages to the Executive Team, Board of Directors, and Private Equity Sponsors. Communicate complex data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Strategic Business Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, CFO, and senior leadership across clinical and non-clinical functions. Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives, operational planning, and investment decisions.
Team Leadership and Development: Manage, mentor, and grow the FP&A team. Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development.
Mergers & Acquisitions: Support M&A efforts from a financial perspective, including due diligence, modeling, integration planning, and post-deal analysis.
Advanced Financial Modeling and Scenario Analysis: Build, refine, and implement dynamic financial models and decision-support tools that evaluate operational efficiency, profitability, and risk.
Forecasting and Cost Control: Lead a rigorous quarterly forecasting process that improves accuracy and accountability. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend actions to meet or exceed financial targets.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Champion the use of data analytics in financial planning and operational decision-making. Leverage tools like PowerBI to deliver actionable insights.
Financial Systems Management: Own the implementation, optimization, and governance of financial planning systems (e.g., Prophix). Ensure data integrity, automation, and scalability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Accounting, Operations, IT, HR, and other departments to integrate financial planning with company-wide initiatives.
Continuous Process Improvement: Drive ongoing improvements to financial processes, reporting accuracy, efficiency, and stakeholder engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Business Acumen & Strategy:
Strong understanding of financial statements, key performance indicators, and business drivers.
Demonstrated ability to connect financial planning with broader business objectives and strategies.
